Mitie facilities manager wins BIFM award

Mitie’s Chris Nugent has been named BIFM Facilities Manager of the Year for 2014. The award recognises outstanding personal and professional performance in FM.

He is Mitie’s contract managing director for Lloyds Banking Group (LBG) and responsible for setting and delivering the FM strategy. He was a TUPE transferee from LBG in 2012.

He was part of the team that designed the scope of the LBG contract and then implemented and delivered what is one of the largest IFM contracts in the UK.

Martyn Freeman, managing director of Mitie’s facilities-management division, said, ‘Chris has first-class change management expertise and an exceptional track record in exceeding expectations, while always maintaining high levels of customer service and team engagement throughout.’
