Tyco and ADT, a Tyco business, have launched the Zettler Profile fire-detection control panel to meet a variety of market demands. System owners and users who require the ability to access and manage the programming software can now do so with the release of a user-friendly version of the configuration tool.

The Profile user interface touchscreen provides access to any part of the menu in three easy steps. Once installed, the system can help improve efficiencies, reduce long-term costs and, fundamentally, ensure the highest levels of fire safety.

The Profile panel provides a new way of interfacing and managing all aspects of the MZW Technology digital addressable system and delivers a range of benefits as part of an overall fire-safety strategy. The new panel is totally backwards compatible with the existing MZX range, all of which can fully interface with the older legacy Minerva range — meaning that existing systems can be upgraded easily and quickly.

The system can be updated in line with future advances in fire-detection technology and easily expanded, allowing a capacity of up to 2000 addresses per panel and up to 99 panels per network.

The Profile range of control panels is available with from two to eight loops. The system can also be managed via a new remote user interface, an 8 inch colour touchscreen with multi-lingual options Up to eight user interfaces can be used per panel.

Site and zone maps can be shown on the user panel, helping to locate a fire alarm quickly.
