Sneak preview — EagleHawk AX plant controller

CentraLine, Honeywell
Coming soon the new EagleHawk.

CentraLine by Honeywell will soon be releasing the first of a new generation of plant controllers combining the Niagara AX software with a proven Honeywell plant controller and the potential to use an extensive library of energy-efficient application modules.

CentraLine introduced the Hawk AX integration controller to a broad base of independent system installers, encouraging both large and small companies to move to the Tridium (a Honeywell company) based Niagara AX software.

This has been an outstanding success with over 140 CentraLine Partners installing a wide spectrum of successful projects from simple boiler houses to large prestigious buildings.

The Hawk AX has made a significant impact on the building-controls industry. Its powerful yet scalable integration, on-board graphics and communication capabilities will continue to be the foundation of CentraLine by Honeywell.

The new EagleHawk AX has been designed to reduce engineering time and installation costs by combining the powerful Niagara AX with proven hardware and the potential of using a macro library of energy-efficient control applications established from Honeywell’s global market presence.

Essentially the EagleHawk AX range is purpose built for HVAC installations incorporating the product and engineering cost efficiency achieved by designing for specific applications.

CentraLine Partners and their clients will directly benefit from reduced engineering time by the optional macro library, utilising cost effective panel bus I/O modules and the flexibility of fully native Niagara programming.

Indirect benefits include product and software familiarity with minimal training upgrade.

CentraLine will have a staged release of EagleHawk AX. For more information about this exciting new product please read next month’s Modern Building Services.
