Air quality in the bedrooms of a residential unit of Pepenbury, a charity based in Kent that provides care and support to people with learning disabilities, has been improved by the installation of energy-recovery ventilation units from EnviroVent. Following a survey by a specialist ventilation adviser, Envirovent recommended that each bedroom be fitted with a HeatSava 150 (pictured) to provide constant ventilation and improve indoor air quality by maintaining relative-humidity levels.

Trials in three rooms reduced levels of condensation.

The HeatSava is ideal for retrofitting in social-housing and rented properties and can recover up to 75% of heat from exhaust air. These units run continuously.
