Elco’s re-engineered boiler range

Elco, boiler, wall hung, space heating

Elco Heating Solution’s Thision L Evo is a completely re-engineered range of wall-mounted gas-fired condensing boilers with outputs from 60 to 140 kW. Features include a flat metal-fibre cold-flame burner for very low NOx emissions. The stainless-steel heat exchanger has double-wall geometry for superb heat transfer. Other features include extensive cascade arrangements up to 1.1 MW and the latest control functionality.

These boilers have been developed with the UK commercial market in mind. They can operate at up to 8 bar, making them compatible with multi-level buildings without the need for hydraulic separation. The 30 K temperature differential between flow and return temperatures enables them to be integrated into district-heating systems. All boilers are compatible with parallel and concentric flue systems.

NOx emissions already comply with future standards, including the Ecodesign Directive due in September 2018. Parasitic loads are low, with only a 150 W fan required for a 140 kW boiler. Casing loss is only 81 W.
