Copper fittings for pipes carrying medical gases

Conex Banninger, copper fittings, medical gases

Conex Banninger’s range of fittings for pipes carrying medical gases is made of copper for its anti-microbial properties. They require a copper-to-copper braze installation, the only jointing method permitted on medical sites. The copper-alloy medical-gas products in the range are also manufactured from red brass materials with high resistance to corrosion.

These fittings are available in sizes from 6 to 159 mm and are degreased on the surface to below 0.01 mg/cm2 of hydrocarbons contamination. They comply with HTM 02-01 regulations for medical-gas pipelines.

Each product is individually bagged in clear polythene with an easily removable label stating the degreased specification, product code and product batch number.
