Schneider delivers control for university regeneration project

As part of the regeneration of Swansea University’s 65 acre Bay Campus, EFT Consult worked with Schneider Electric on a complete building-management system, StruXureWare, wiring accessories, industrial cable containment, LV distribution, rising busbar and metering. Schneider Electric’s involvement so far is over £1 million, and the overall regeneration project has been valued at £450 million.

The solutions devised by EFT and Schneider Electric have been deployed in 14 buildings.

The Bay Campus is on an old BP Transit site and is home to the College of Engineering and School Management students. It will be home to almost 5000 students and 1000 staff.
