Swegon launches combined air-filtration business

Swegon Air Management is combining its two filtration brands (Trion and Envirco) to form a single air-filtration business called Airfiltrera. Trion provides electrostatic filters for manufacturing facilities and commercial buildings — including shopping centres, hotels and restaurants. Envirco has been designing and manufacturing commercial clean rooms for over 50 years.

Trion and Envirco products will be Airfiltrera’s lead ranges, but the company is looking to use the new brand as a basis to extend its product offering in the future.

Kevin Munson, managing director of Swegon Air Management, said, ‘Trion and Envirco are a natural fit — a great marriage. Their acquisition by Swegon late last year has created an opportunity for the group to consolidate and extend its presence in the air-filtration sector and look for opportunities to diversify.
