What do you know about the ErP Directive?

Combat, ErP, efficiency

Seasonal efficiency is the new calculation used to measure the true efficiency of HVAC Systems, explains Nikki Goodman (marketing manager with Combat HVAC), rating the equipment on the day-to-day efficiency over the year.

Currently, a heating systems efficiency is based only on fuel consumed. When the ErP Directive is enforced in January 2018, all products will be required to meet the total seasonal efficiency as set by the directive.

This will not only be based on fuel consumed but the whole mechanics of the heating system.
