Gilberts enlarges its warehouse capacity

Gilberts, air distribution, grilles, diffusers

In response to growing demand for its products, Gilberts Blackpool has increased its warehousing capacity by almost 10%. The company is experiencing a significant increase in demand for its grilles, louvres and diffusers, and natural-ventilation products, both in the UK market and overseas.

The growth is partly due to the health of the British building and construction sector. It also reflects Gilberts’ own development. The company has invested in a start-of-the-art R&D and testing facility, implemented a new sales strategy with enlarged technical sales team, and invested in advanced new processing technology.

Managing director Jonathan Haslam said, ‘We design, engineer and test entirely in house. Our significant and sustained growth means we now need more capacity. The extension will deliver an additional 790 m2 of manufacturing and warehousing at our headquarters.
