Valve guide aids selection by application

Pipe Center, Wolseley, valves, pipework

With the role of building-services engineers constantly diversifying due to technological development and economic change, Pipe Center (part of Wolseley UK) has launched a new valve guide to aid specification on the job. This guide is specific to Wolseley’s range of Jet valves.

The guide lists products by application so that users can make more informed choices. Applications covered include low-temperature hot water, domestic hot water, potable water, chilled water and gas.

Phil Viner, category director for pipes, valves and fittings at Wolseley said, ‘With so many variations of valves on the market for customers to navigate through, we identified a need to start listing our products by project rather than product. We understand our customers’ businesses and their challenges and want to be responsive to customer needs, forging more of a partnership approach.

There are more than a hundred JET valves listed in the guide, including Pipe Center’s latest commissioning valve.
