Terminal takes off with Grundfos

Grundfos, Aberdeen Airport

Aberdeen Airport has been working on a master plan to enhance their passengers experience that started back in 2015 and is due to be fully completed by 2019.

Some of this work, that is part of a £20 million terminal transformation, has been obvious to the 3 million passengers who currently travel through this hub every year. For example, the new baggage reclaim areas and upgrades to the infrastructure itself, while other phases have been happening behind the scenes.

This is certainly true for the many of Grundfos pumps from the TP, MAGNA3 and UPSN circulator pump families that are at heart of the M&E solution, whose role it is to provide the pump requirements to support all HVAC and HWS requirements within the new terminal.

To achieve the best outcome, Grundfos worked with consultants WSP and the installers Richard Irvin Energy Solutions team to ensure that every step within the process met the ambitions of this far seeing project that is due to be completed in 2019.
