Balfour Kilpatrick wins major fire-service contract

Balfour Kilpatrick has been awarded a £3.1 million contract to provide M&E services for the new headquarters of South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service in Sheffield city centre. This new regional headquarters will comprise a 3-storey operational fire station, incorporating a regional control room and state-of-the-art 4-storey office accommodation. Balfour Kilpatrick is carrying out the work for Balfour Beatty Construction. The overall project is due to finish in August 2008.
