Hamworthy Heating under new ownership

Business as usual — Andy Moore on the acquisition of Hamworthy Heating by Group Atlantic.
Hamworthy Heating has been acquired by Group Atlantic of France, which is well known across Europe for its commercial and domestic boilers, electric water heaters, panel heaters, towel driers, air conditioning, ventilation and renewable energy. It already has a presence in the UK through its Atlantic and Ygnis brands. Andy Moore, formerly the finance director of Hamworthy, is the new managing director and says it will be ‘business as usual’ for the company. He says, ‘Hamworthy Heating is a well known and respected name in the UK market with its brand-leading modular boilers and hot-water systems. ‘The acquisition of the company by Group Atlantic can only serve to increase Hamworthy’s portfolio, allowing to continue to lead the way in commercial heating and the growing renewables market in the UK, as well as develop our product positioning in international markets.
