PIR detector can monitor presence and absence

The ceiling-mounted presence detector EBDSPIR-PRM from CP Electronics is an extension of the EBDSPIR range and offers many additional features, including presence and absence detection. This new passive infra-red detector can be set for absence detection, presence detection, or both — switching the load off or off according to occupancy after a preset time. The time delay is adjustable from 10 s to 99 min. If there is sufficient natural light, a built-in photocell will keep the lighting switched off. There is an optional manual over-ride.
