Scented air curtain

A new air curtain from JS Air Curtains includes a built-in air freshener, UV air purification, strip light and energy-saving technology. These features of the Intensse air curtain are described as making it a good choice for modern commercial premises such as banks, hotels and offices. A noise-reduction system keeps operating noise below 46 dB(A). The air freshener has six scent options in cassette form, which are inserted into the top of the air curtain near the air inlet to release an aroma for up to 12 months. The built-in strip light is available with green, red and blue bulbs, and there are matching colour trims for the side panels. A power-regulation system reduces energy consumption by up to 20% compared with standard electrically heated air curtains. The wire elements reach operating temperature within 10 s, compared with the 120 s required for a stainless-steel heating rod. When the internal temperature reaches its set point, power to the elements is pulsed to maintain a more consistent internal temperature. These air curtains are available in lengths of 1, 1.5 and 2 m with electric or LPHW heating. Outputs are from 9.5 to 19 kW for electric heating and 17.5 to 36.5 kW for LPHW.
