Buderus adds low-output boiler to its GB162 range

Buderus has added a 65 kW-output boiler to its GB162 range.
Buderus has added a new wall-mounted boiler to its GB162 range. The new model has an output of 65 kW and joins the existing 80 and 100 kW models. This new boiler features the same technology as the larger boilers and can be used by itself or as part of a linked multi-boiler cascade installation. The 65 kW boiler modulates down to 19% of full output. It weighs 70 kg and has lifting handles to make it easy to handle. The ALU-plus heat exchanger has a twisted flow channel inside the finned-aluminium silicate heat cell to optimise heat transfer and maximise the amount of water coming into contact with the heat exchanger. The outer surface is treated with a patented process to prevent dust and combustion particles adhering to its surface, effectively making it self cleaning. The GB162 is simple to integrate into an existing heating system as it does not require a minimum flow rate. A separate pump group, supplied as standard, fits neatly below the boiler and includes a modulating pump, flow and return isolation valves with built-in thermometers, connections for expansion vessel, pressure gauge and pipe connections.
