Rooftop packaged units designed as exact drop-in replacements

carrier
One-for-one replacement — Carrier offers packaged rooftop air conditioners made in the exact size of the unit to be replaced.
To enable rooftop packaged air conditioners using R22 to be replaced easily, Carrier will make new units to fit exactly into the space occupied by the units being replaced. Such units are especially used in the retail sectors, and several Tesco stores in the south of England have recently benefited from this service. Exact replacements avoid the extra cost of new ductwork or roof curbs and minimal disruption and downtime. It is usually possible to complete a project between a store closing on Sunday and re-opening on Monday morning. These packaged units have cooling capacities from 7 to 150 kW and heating from 7 to 147 kW. They use R407C and are constructed from stronger and more weather-resistant materials than has traditionally been the case. Heat exchangers have high levels of corrosion and ultra-violet protection.
