Timoleon commits to A-rated pumps

Timoleon

Timoleon claims to be the first specialist underfloor-heating company to switch to the exclusive use of A-rated pumps for maximum energy efficiency.

Managing director Darren Trivett (pictured) says, ‘Adopting a A standard for system circulators is the logical extension of our emphasis on low-carbon solutions. The high efficiency A-rated pumps we will be integrating into all our system design could potentially save every user up to 30 kg of carbon per year — per manifold.’

Timoleon is standardising on the Laing Ecocirc vario circulators. Europump calculates that upgrading all the D-rated pumps in Europe to A could save the equivalent of five nuclear power stations.
