Carrier acquires i2S Group’s controls businesses

Carrier Corporation has acquired the controls businesses of the i2S Group. They are DMS Controls, ESL and i2S Services. Collectively, these companies design, install and service complete building-management systems, primarily for commercial office buildings in the UK.

David Appel, president Carrier Europe Middle East Africa HVCA, says, ‘The acquisition of i2S Group’s controls business further enhances Carrier’s building-management-systems capabilities in Europe.’

Obafemi Gboyega, managing director of Carrier in the UK, adds, ‘This will enable Carrier to provide a comprehensive set of products and services to meet its customers’ needs for ease of control and energy savings.’
