Updated conventional interface module for addressable fire systems

System Sensor Europe, fire alarm system

System Sensor Europe’s conventional zone interface module (M210E-CZR) is designed for use in addressable fire systems to enable a zone of conventional 2-wire detectors to be managed by the control panel via a single module address on a loop. The module enables conventional intrinsically safe detectors to interface with an addressable system, which is typical in well defined locations such as separate machinery rooms and boiler houses where knowing the individual detector address is not necessarily important.

These units can be housed in a stand-alone enclosure or mounted on a 35 mm DIN rail. They operate from 12 to 28.5 V DC and limit zone current to 60 mA. Power for the conventional detector zone can be supplied from an external power supply or the analogue loops. The M210E-CZE can also interface System Sensor’s conventional beam detector to addressable control panels.
