Weatherite delivers fast-track AC for railway station

The ticket office area of Stockport railway station now enjoys the benefit of air conditioning installed by Weatherite Building Services.

Just two weeks after quoting for the job Weatherite Building Services had completed the design and installation of an energy-efficient air-conditioning system for Stockport railway station. The contract was awarded by Dalkia Rail on behalf of Virgin Rail. The system comprises two Hitachi 2-way-blow cassettes linked to a Hitachi conditioning unit with a total cooling capacity of 25 kW.

Weatherite also installed a new suspended ceiling in the ticket office area and a Thermoscreen recessed over-door heater.
