Guide to the CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme

Trend Control Systems, CRC, Carbon Reduction Scheme

Trend Control Systems has prepared a short guide to the Carbon Reduction Commitment Energy Efficiency Scheme — the mandatory carbon-emissions trading scheme that came into effect from April 2010. It affects around 5000 large energy-using organisations consuming more than 6000 MWh of half-hourly metered electricity in a year, representing an annual electricity bill of about £500 000.

The guide outlines the requirements of the CRC, how it will be administered and how to set about meeting its requirements.
