Thermo-Floor provides underfloor heating for major hospital redevelopment

Thermo-Floor, underfloor heating
Effective heating for large open areas of this hospital is provided by Thermo-Floor underfloor heating.

Thermo-Floor has installed 1300 m2 of underfloor heating in two communal areas of the £170 million redevelopment of Manor Hospital in Walsall. They are the atrium and the cafe area and streets. These areas would have been more difficult to heat with a traditional heating system. In contract, floor heating delivers radiant heat evenly from the entire floor, providing warmth at a lower temperature and with a positive effect on relative humidity.

In addition, the entire system is concealed within the floor, giving complete freedom of design.
