Rehau, solar, rainwater harvesting

Fiona Mactaggart, MP for Slough, is briefed about the control of renewable energy by Franz Huelle, technical manager for heating and plumbing with Rehau, at the opening of the Renewable Energy Training Centre at the Langley Campus of East Berkshire. This specialist training centre for students has been equipment by Rehau.

The centre includes working demonstrations of Rehau’s solar-panel technology and Raurain rainwater-harvesting systems. There are also hands-on practical areas where students can learn how to install underfloor heating systems and flexible pipework.

The company’s ground-source energy probes are also on display.

Rehau will use the facility as an extension to its own training academy and offer a range of seminars and courses.
