Xpelair brings more energy saving to home ventilation

Xpelair, MVHR

Xpelair Ventilation Solutions has launched an MHVR (mechanical ventilation with heat recovery) range that can recover up to 91% of heat from extract air. There are three models in the Xcell 400 range, and they use a low-energy Ultra EC motor. These units can serve large apartments and homes with three to five bedrooms.

These units are easy to install, with a lightweight EPP (expanded polypropylene) construction and a highly insulated foam body. They have four connection spigots at the top and long-life G4 filters that require minimal maintenance.

Steve Mongan, head of marketing at Xpelair, says, ‘We are seeing more and more specifiers and installers are trying to find an appropriate ventilation system that meets the Government’s expectations for airtight homes. The Xcell 400 exceeds these high standards as an Appendix Q listed product, helping to drive down CO2 levels and provide a constant supply of fresh, clean air into domestic dwellings.’
