Climaveneta acquires Walter Meier (Climate UK)

Climaveneta has acquired Walter Meier (Climate UK) from the Walter Meier Group. The company is now called Climaveneta UK. The move follows recent acquisitions of distribution companies in Poland and India and is a further step in Climaveneta’s strategy of growth in key markets.

Climate Equipment was established in 1964 and is a leading UK distributor and service provider of HVAC products. The current management team remains unchanged and will be responsible for running Climaveneta UK.

The sale is part of the Walter Meier group strategy of focusing on climate wholesale businesses in Switzerland, Germany and Austria and focusing on the humidification business in the global markets. In April 2011, Walter Meier acquired UK humidifier company JS Humidifiers.
