More ways to dispose of waste lamps

Recolight’s WEEE compliance scheme for lamps now has more collection options for businesses to help increase access to lamp-recycling facilities for all. Previously, businesses that did not recycle over a thousand lamps every three months relied on an open Recolight collection point or a range of commercially available services. Now, for a nominal charge, they have two other options.

One is to lease a Recolight container for the duration of a large refit or relamping project.

The other is to lease a container and become a collection point for waste lamps.

The collections of full containers and recycling of lamps is free, including the provision of consignment notes for duty-of-care purposes and access to fully accredited suppliers.
