Following the success of the 2011 awards of the Building Controls Industry Association, with over 250 guests at the event hosted by celebrity journalist Selina Scott, the date has been announced for the 2012 event. It will be on 10 May 2012 at the St John’s Hotel in Solihull and be preceded by the association’s national conference and exhibition.

Sponsors for the 2012 awards are Centraline by Honeywell, HVCA, Johnson Controls, KNX, Modern Building Services, Priva Building Intelligence, Siemens, Trend Control Systems and Western Automation.

The theme for the national conference will be the key role that controls take in achieving energy efficiency, carbon reduction and lower energy bills. Expert speakers will offer a range of advice on the latest legislation, techniques and case studies.

An exhibition will run alongside the conference, and delegates will be able to see the latest products from the controls industry and network with technical experts during breaks.

Modern Building Services is BCIA’s media partner for the conference, exhibition and awards. If you would like to book space for the exhibition, contact Charles Keel (ckeel@portico.uk.com or tel. 01438 759000).
