JS provides a key element for brewing perfect beer

JS Humidifiers, humidification
Maintaining the ideal RH in the hops store of Timothy Taylor using JS humidifiers plays a key role in delivering perfect beer.

To help maintain the ideal conditions in the new hops store of Timothy Taylor Brewery at Keighley, JS Humidifiers has supplied two Condair CP3 electrode boiler steam humidifiers. Airedale Cooling Services approached JS Humidifiers as the two companies had worked together previously and JS had supplied two humidifiers for the original hop store two years before.

JS specified the in-room humidifiers, which can deliver 5 kg/h, to maintain 65% RH at 5°C. The duty required is 9 kg/h.

Features such as monitoring the conductivity of the water and staged electrode use maximise the life of the steam cylinder and extend operational periods between service requirements. The design of the CP3 makes it easy to drain, remove and replace the disposable steam cylinder, minimising downtime.
