Grundfos supports new Manchester data centre

Grundfos Pumps

Grundfos has provided the specialist pump solution for a new data centre for Telecity Group in Manchester opposite MediaCityUK. It has a cooling requirement of 3.5 MW, which is met by bespoke containerised packaged plant rooms from EllisonAC.

Pumps supplied for the project include Grundfos NB single-stage standard pumps and TP close-coupled circulator pumps. TPE variants were also part of the selection as these models are electronically controlled, which makes them more efficient and also enables them to be linked into the building-management system.
