Rehau plays winning role in stadia for Euro 2012

Rehau, underfloor heating, space heating

What viewers of the Euro 2012 football championship might not have spotted among all the extra time and penalty shoot-outs is that seven of the eight stadia used as venues feature Rehau underpitch heating systems. Not only do the Rehau systems prevent the ground freezing during the winter, but they also provide drainage routes that maintain the permeability of the surface so the pitch does not become waterlogged during periods of heavy rain.

The PE-Xa pipes are made from the same polyethylene using in its underfloor heating systems. They are installed 25 cm below the grass roots and clamped to Rehau fixing rails at precisely predefined intervals.
