Circulator is designed for underfloor heating

Xylem Lowara has launched a high-efficiency heating circulator specifically designed for underfloor heating systems in commercial and domestic situations. The Ecocirc Underfloor circulator has all the specifications of a standard Ecocirc circulator and three additional features — including switchable performance modes, optional high-limit thermal protection and intelligent slowdown.

These circulators can switch automatically from full variable-speed performance, meeting the ErP 2015 Directive that now exceed the old A .Class specification, to stepless constant-pressure control mode, which is deal for underfloor heating systems — with or without zone valves.

The intelligent slowdown feature will stop the pump once a temperature of 45, 55 or 95°C is reached; it will attempt to restart the motor once a minute to ensure that the system will never overheat. This feature eliminates the need for an external thermostat.
