Grundfos breakthrough in wastewater pumps

pipe, pipework, Grundfos, wastewater pumps

The S Tube wastewater pump from Grundfos has an impeller design that overcomes having to choose between free passage to obtain reliable operation or high efficiency to achieve low operating costs. The impeller is said to combine both attributes for the first time and as an important engineering feat.

The pump is also fitted with the energy-efficient Grundfos Blueflux motor technology.

Combining these pumps with Grundfos control and surveillance systems ends up with the intelligent Autoadapt, which automatically ensures optimum operation — even under changing conditions.
