MHG launches heat interface units

MHG, space heating, heat interface unit, communal heating, district heating

MHG’s Teleheat range of heat interface units is designed to provide heating and hot-water services using energy from a centralised energy centre or district-heating systems. They include an electronic controller, temperature sensors, mixing valve and circulating pump. There is also a hot-water pre-heat function for instantaneous DHW in the summer when space-heating demand is low.

Other design features include hot-water priority, gradual work up for the heating circuit and a pump and valve exercise program to avoid them seizing.

The units can be supplied with MBus-connectable heat and/or water meters. They can also be interfaced to a BMS.

Teleheat units are available with single or twin plate heat exchangers with DHW capacities of 39, 45 and 48 kW and space heating up to 18 kW. One heat exchanger is used for DHW and the second, if fitted, for space heating — otherwise heating is supplied directly from the central primary circuit.
