Chilled-beam cassette

Flakt Woods, air conditioning, chilled beam, cassette

Flakt Woods’ Lyra cassette chilled-beam unit provides extremely quiet cooling. It is available in two sizes, 600 and 1200 mm square, and is suitable for cooling, heating or mixed use. These units sit flush in suspended ceilings and are equally effective in exposed-soffit installations, with casing adaptors and snap-on front panels.

These units have multi-directional diffusers and flow-pattern control (15°, 30° and 45°) to deliver a comfortable environment for a wide range of office and commercial applications.

There are three settings for airflow rate and the option of two fixed nozzles to achieve maximum air flows. A coanda safety control function maintains the coanda effect in the room while ensuring the highest levels of cooling or heating.

Freely suspended units can have their air flow directed upward. The combination of adjustable front panel and blades for controlling airflow pattern improve the control of air distribution in high-occupancy installations.
