Heat-interface units
Stokvis Energy Systems’ H-series heat-interface units for residential applications are available as single-plate and dual-plate versions. They have been developed to meet the rising demand for communal or district heating systems.
A centralised approach to providing heating and hot water is ideal for social and private apartment buildings, student accommodation or sheltered housing schemes. Benefits include lower capital costs and avoiding the need for an annual gas-safety inspection in each dwelling.
These units can be located in a kitchen cabinet or in a service cupboard that is accessible from outside the dwelling. They draw heat from a distribution mains served by central plant.
2-plate units have separate plate heat exchangers for heating and DHW. Another version has a plate heat exchanger for DHW, with space heating provided direct by the district mains. It is possible to incorporate an indirect hot-water cylinder.
