Enjoying 40% turnover growth, Stephen Hart of Frese.

Dynamic-valve manufacturer Frese has seen its UK turnover grow by over 40% in the last year to reach £3.4 million. The year started successfully with projects for major landmark schemes such as The Shard and De Vere Gardens in London.

Significant projects since include the luxury-apartment scheme 3 Merchant Square at Hyde Park in London and AkzoNobel’s £15 million factory in Ashington where paint brands such as Dulux and Cuprinol are produced.

Stephen Hart, managing director at Frese, comments, ‘Pressure-independent control valves [PICVs] are an increasingly popular way of cutting energy costs in buildings by simply controlling the heating and cooling system more accurately. Such valves, once installed, can cut energy costs for a building by up to 50%.’

Frese was founded in Denmark in 1944 and opened its UK office at Burscough, Lancashire, in 2004.
