Imtech Inviron makes headlines with News UK

News UK has appointed Imtech Inviron to manage technical services at it new state-of-the-art offices in central London. The 3-year contract will see Imtech Inviron maintaining the 17-storey headquarters of New UK, which publishes The Times and The Sun newspapers.

The new building is near London Bridge and The Shard. It was officially opened by the Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, and Rupert Murdoch.

Imtech Inviron will help to move in Dow Jones and HarperCollings, subsidiaries of News Corp in the near future.

David Webb, operations director with Imtech Inviron, said, ‘Now the transition is full flow, we have increased the team so that engineers are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This is a significant contract for us.’
