Remeha performs well for performing arts

Remeha Commercial, boiler, space heating

Heating for the £22 million facilities for sports and visual and performing arts at Sunderland College is provided by two Remeha Gas 310 Eco Pro boilers. The buildings, designed by architects Redbox Design, include a sports-science laboratory, fitness suites, treatment room, sports halls, film screening suite, dance, drama recording and media studios. There is also a full-size performance venue.

The building has achieved a ‘Very good’ BREEAM rating.

David Wright, director at Desco and M&E consulting engineer on the project, commented, ‘This was one of the best installations that we have ever seen. The heating systems were handed over defect free.’

M&E contractor was Castle Building Services.
