ISG wins major repeat business from KPMG

ISG, contractor

ISG is responsible for the a multi-million-pound contract for fitting out the new office in Leeds of global professional-services firm KPMG. The scheme follows the fitting out of KPMG’s new office in Manchester in 2014 and a BCO Best Corporate Workplace award for ISG’s delivery of the firm’s headquarters in London’s canary Wharf.

Targeting a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ award the fit-out includes an efficient chilled-beam cooling system, state-of-the-art LED lighting throughout and an advanced building-management system. The scheme is scheduled for completion in late summer.

KPMG’s office in Leeds occupies all of One Sovereign Square in the city centre. The four floors total around 5500 m2 of space.

Matt Blowers, managing director of ISG’s fit-out business in the UK, commented, ‘The return in confidence within the London office market shows signs of positively impacting activity within some of the UK’s major conurbations. Our latest regional project for KPMG is significant from a repeat-business perspective and as an indicator for the firm’s commitment to key regional markets.’
