Imtech Inviron opens new operations centre

Imtech Inviron, technical facilities management

Imtech Inviron, which specialises in technical facilities management, has opened a new national operations centre in Birmingham. It operates as a 24-hour call centre and programmes the work of mobile engineers operating from the regional office network across the UK. It was formally opened by the Mayor of Solihull, Councillor Glenis Slater (centre in photograph).

The creation of the national operations centre will improve customer service and response times. An in-house team of software designers has developed and rolled out a management software solution.

Paul Rogers, managing director (third from left), says, ‘We are committed to our UK network of offices, with Imtech Inviron employees delivering services to our clients and truly being part of local communities. Now they have the support, resilience and planning capability of a state-of-the-art facility.

‘Our investment and development in Imtech Inviron’s software and service offering will continue. Ultimately our operations centre will have the ability to monitor and optimise systems to reduce energy consumption in our clients’ buildings and remotely operate plant and equipment — offering a full diagnostic solution.’
