Super-fast service work for pizza restaurant

Synecore has completed its second M&E contract for Pizza Union, its newly opened Kings Cross restaurant, in record time after a delay in the building works. The electrical and HVAC installation was due to take eight weeks to complete on site. However, when the building works over-ran, Synecore and shop fitter Rocket Interiors worked side-by-side over long days and weekends to compete the entire project in just four weeks.

This small chain of restaurants serves freshly made pizzas in a ‘superfast’ manner. The restaurants resemble a traditional Italian pizzeria with an edgy industrial look for its inner-city location.

Paul Thomas, Synecore’s managing director, says, ‘Pizza Union’s requirement for exposed utilities has become quite an area of expertise for us. It must be impeccably installed and, of course, suit the existing plant and room layouts, while allowing easy access for maintenance and servicing,’
