Airedale, air conditioning

Airedale International has launched an interactive 360° virtual tour of its new manufacturing facility at Rawdon, Leeds — which has a BREEAM ‘Very good’ rating. Managing director Clive Parkman explains, ‘We believe that openly showing people where and how units are made will make a lasting impression and continue to speak volumes about Airedale’s commitment to quality and craftsmanship in the most transparent way.’

Highlights of the tour of the 23 000 m2 facility include manufacturing lines, R&D test centre and the training school.

The 1323 m2 R&D test centre is one of the most advanced of its kind in the global air-conditioning industry and one of the biggest in Europe. Its capabilities include testing precision air conditioning to 250 kW and chillers up to 2 MW. The temperature testing range is form -20 to 50°C.
