Conex Bänninger keeps the water flowing in Dubai’s green projects

Conex Banninger, Dubai, valves

Valves from Conex Bänninger are helping to keep the water flowing at some of Dubai’s most prestigious infrastructure projects.

Products include gate valves, butterfly and air release valves which were custom-designed by Conex Bänninger to cope with the arid desert conditions of the UAE. The valves are important elements in the irrigation networks for attractions such as the Dubai Parks and Resorts theme parks, as well as the Dubai Opera.

Delta Power Electrical supplied the valves to the projects. And they will also be using Conex Bänninger valves for the irrigation network that will supply water for landscaping around entrances, pathways and accommodation for the World Expo 2020.

Higher grades of metal were used in the valves to cope with the harsh environment.
