Elta invests over £650k in new machinery as it eyes growth in production

Elta acquires new machinery

Continuing its expansion and growth strategy, Elta has invested in two new machines to streamline and improve its manufacturing capabilities. This comes on the back of the air movement specialist’s 50th anniversary.

These two machines include a new Trumpf TruPunch 1000 Punch Press at Elta’s West Midlands headquarters, and a new 6kW Auto Loading Laser at its Fareham base. The installation comes with new electrics, flooring and a mezzanine platform, with the total expenditure being over £650,000. The investment allows Elta to increase its manufacturing efficiency and capacity on its ventilation solutions at both sites.

Damian Buxton, CEO at Elta UK, said: “We have chosen to make these investments as we see the value and importance of being a UK manufacturer. They enhance our capabilities for the benefit of both our customers and employees, and ensure we keep moving forward to challenge the rest of the industry. Our new machines were both installed in what is our 50th year anniversary, helping to mark our intentions with growth and expansion.”
