Circuit breakers can incorporate residual-current protection

Designed for large commercial and industrial loads, Series G moulded-case circuit breakers from Eaton Electric
The Series G range of enclosed moulded-case circuit breakers from Eaton Electric is suitable for the protection and control of large commercial and industrial loads. The range extends from 63 to 630A in single-pole, 3-pole and 4-pole variants. There are also versions with integral residual-current protection. These MCCBs are suitable for applications where long cable runs and/or high earth-fault impedances require residual-current protection to satisfy the requirements of the Wiring Regulations. Sensitivity can be adjusted from 30 mA to 10 A. The time delay can be adjusted from instantaneous to0 a second, providing for discrimination with other residual-current devices. The RCDs have to alarm contacts as standard. One operates at 50% trip current and the other at 100%. Two LEDs indicate that power is on and the earth-leakage current is more than 50% of full trip current. Enclosures are of 1.5 mm sheet steel with a 2 mm cover and epoxy-polyester finish. Most enclosures have gland plates and knockouts. Neutral links can be removed for ease of commissioning.
