BBC Scotland benefits from Kingspan pipe insulation

BBC
The new headquarters of BBC Scotland is one of the latest projects to use Kooltherm pipe insulation and insulated pipe supports from Kingspan Tarec Industrial Insulation. The Kingspan insulation and supports were installed by NIS Group. Managing director Ian Marsden says, ‘We prefer to use Kooltherm because it has proved the best value time and time again, a saving we can pass on to our customers. We’re confident of the product’s quality, and we know we can be sure of excellent back-up and advice from Kingspan Tarec.’ These lightweight products have a thermal conductivity as low as 0.021 W/mK. They are also resistant to fire and have low smoke emissions. They are faced with a reinforced aluminium-foil vapour-barrier jacket, which also adds to aesthetics.
