Airflow introduces new AHU with heat recovery

Airflow has expanded its range of heat-recovery air-handling units with the introduction of the Duplexvent 15000. These units deliver 15 000 m3/h with low noise and energy consumption. On the extraction side, a counterflow heat exchanger recovers up to 65% of heat from outgoing air and transfers it to the incoming airstream — reducing the load on boiler plant. Extracting humid air eliminates condensation. Filters remove airborne pollutants and contaminants. Odours and smells are also greatly reduced to create a generally healthier indoor climate. Duplexvent 15000 is a compact self-contained unit that is available in indoor and outdoor, weather-resistant roof-top versions. Control options include semi-automatic manual settings to ‘on-demand’ activation based on occupancy. Outputs that are compatible with a BMS are available.
