Recolight reaches a thousand collection points
Recolight, the specialist WEEE compliance scheme for the lamp industry, has registered its thousandth collection point. South Eastern Electrical Plc in Hainault, Essex brought the total to 1000 when it turned to Recolight after winning a new energy-saving contract with Tesco. Eddie Taylor, chief executive of Recolight, comments, ‘Recolight now represents over 60 producer members, and we estimate that we account for over 80% of the gas discharge lamps put on the UK market each year.
